Montevallo is participating in the Shelby County FREE Landfill Day on Saturday, October 3rd, from 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Bring your items to the Recycling Center, 1120 Overland Road.
The Recycling Center will CLOSE at 1:30 PM to be able to get to the Landfill on time.
We respectfully request trucks pulling trailers or 18-wheeler trucks to go ahead and take your items directly to the Shelby County Landfill, located at 401 Landfill Road, just off Highway 70 between Columbiana and Calera.
Montevallo and the Landfill does NOT accept Hazardous waste, tires, batteries, or liquids of any type.
