Montevallo Municipal Court is resuming on Wednesday, June 3rd. Everyone expected to make an appearance at court has been notified either by email, phone, or mail.
New protocols are in place to ensure the safety of everyone present. To be allowed in the building, defendants must do the following: (1) wear a mask, (2) maintain proper social distancing, (3) agree to an external temperature scan. Defendants will check-in in the parking lot and wait until they're called before they may enter City Hall. Only the defendant and their attorney will be allowed in the building. No children will be allowed.
Payment Docket – Defendants who are on a payment plan and are in compliance may be eligible to be put on a "payment docket" – meaning if you continue to make payments on time and remain in compliance, there will be no need to appear in court. Not everyone will be eligible for this program, contact Montevallo Municipal Court for more information.
Payments can be made online, over the phone, by money order made out to "Montevallo Municipal Court," and cash.
