REMEMBER these COLD WEATHER TIPS as TEMPERATURES are EXPECTED to be at FREEZING or BELOW this weekend! Allow water to DRIP (not run freely). When Temperature rises above FREEZING be sure to turn your water back OFF! Check on neighbors that are homebound. Most of all, BE SAFE! ðŸ’§ðŸ’§ðŸ’§

 

There is a risk of a wintry mix, including freezing rain, primarily affecting the northern third of Central Alabama from Friday night to Sunday night. Some locations will experience wintry precipitation longer than others, and many will fluctuate between precipitation types throughout the event. A shot of frigid air will move in behind this weather system. Check weather.gov/bmx for forecast updates. Preparations for impacts may become necessary.
