Montevallo FREE DUMP DAY

SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, March 28, 2026! The City of Montevallo will be participating in Shelby County Alabama's FREE Landfill Day for residents. Bring trash to Montevallo’s Recycling Center (1120 Overland Rd) from 7 am to 1:30 pm. *NOTE* Have your items to the Recycling Center by 1:30 pm so Public Works can get to the Landfill on TIME!
 1.) Trailer size is limited to 6' x 12' (6 feet by 12 feet).
2.) Limited to one vehicle (car or truck) per resident to give all residents the opportunity to participate.
You may take your items directly to the Shelby County Landfill. The Shelby County Highway 70 Landfill is located at 401 Landfill Road, just off Highway 70 between Columbiana and Calera.
We DO NOT accept Hazardous waste, tires, batteries, or liquids of any type.
