Mayor Rusty Nix, the City Council, the Administrative Staff and Employees of the City of Montevallo are saddened by the passing of our friend and co-worker Wayne Whatley. A dedicated member of our Park and Recreation Crew since 2021, Wayne worked to help make things better in our community. Montevallo City Hall will be closed on Monday March 9th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to allow our employees to pay their respects.
